Located in the vicinity of the property is the Gropius Passagen shopping-centre, the largest mall in Berlin, and one of the largest in the whole of Germany. All year numerous events take place here – i.e. concerts of jazz or classical music, the ‘Herbstdrachenfest’ (a festival in autumn for kites with lots of additional features like music and aero-sculptures, etc.), or the ‘Feuerblumen und Klassik Open Air’ (always sold out well in advance this is an open air concert of classical music with the highlight of a fireworks display as background for the enjoyment of the music).

Another park in this area, the Gutspark Britz, is admittedly the most beautiful one in the whole of Berlin. Lots of schools, hospitals and historical buildings, i.e. the famous ‘Hufeisensiedlung’ from the 1920s, complete the image of a grown community with a well-developed infrastructure. Britz possesses an excellent connection in regard of public transport. Right next to the buildings is the location of a subway station, which will bring residents directly to the city centre and Alexanderplatz. There is a good connection for travelling by car to the city-highway. And – last but not least – the new airport Berlin-Brandenburg International will be reachable in 15 minutes. All of these are reasons for Britz being considered the attractive future area of Berlin.

The complex in Bruno-Taut-Ring consists of 8 buildings of 3 to 4 storeys, all of them divided into 2 or 3 apartment buildings. They have been constructed in 1964. The whole complex comprises of 211 apartments, around 70% of these have already been successfully privatised. The apartments have 1 to 2½ bedrooms and a size between 38m2 and 73m2.
