Berlin - A shoppers paradise

The area around Ku-Damm is Berlin’s most famous shopping district, running for 3.5 kilometers and literally jam packed with stores. The Europe centre alone offers 99 stores on three different levels!

It has 3 million products displayed over 8 floors. If you feel peckish you can always visit the gourmet hall with 1,800 cheeses, 1,400 breads and pastries and 2,000 cold meats there should be something to take your fancy.
  • Galeries Lafayette - A department store offering the latest French fashions for both males and females and a food department tempting you with French delicacies.
  • Department Store Quartier 206 is Berlins most recent fashion store. The three floors are packed with Gucci, DKNY, Versace and Calvin Klein but to name a few of the designers on display.
  • Stilwerk - A trendy shopping centre that specialises in top range designer furniture and fittings
  • Gipsformerei Staatliche Museen - a good stop for the visitor seeking a memento, offering plaster reproductions of Schinkel statues or Prussian sculptures.
  • Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur - Another tourist stop - some glorious Prussian style porcelain to grace your dining room table and other mementos
  • Markt am Winterfeldplatz - Welcome to Berlins trendiest market - a Saturday hotspot for food and clothing or just getting together.
  • Turkenmarkt am Maybachufer - For those who enjoy barter. A popular Turkish market that offers some amazing smells and dishes.
  • Berliner Antik- und Flohmarkt - Home to numerous antique and junk shops - you may get a bargain but be careful of overpaying.
